Meet Dr. JOANNE TAN

Dr. Joanne’s Passion for Creating Healthy Smiles Starts with Building Meaningful Relationships

Dr. Joanne was born and raised in Troy, Michigan, where she developed a passion for helping others at an early age. She completed both her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Case Western Reserve University before continuing her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University at Buffalo.

During her residency, Dr. Joanne developed a strong interest in preventive dentistry and believes that creating positive dental experiences early in life lays the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. She is passionate about helping children feel comfortable, confident, and cared for while partnering with families to support their oral health every step of the way.

As the newest pediatric dentist at Brunswick KiDDS, Dr. Joanne is excited to continue learning from an experienced team while providing compassionate, personalized care to every child she meets. She is committed to making each visit fun, educational, and something children can look forward to.

Outside the office, Dr. Joanne enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and biking, getting creative with craft projects, taking spin classes, discovering new local restaurants, attending concerts, and making memories with friends and family.
